DAY ONE HUNDRED TWO – EASY – 6.7 MILES at 4.5 MPH

A lovely, easy run. I can’t believe I’m saying that about runs that exceed FIVE MILES, but it’s the truth.

I planned a route that included some nice, soft, gravel running along a canal, where I could observe both ducks and horses. The path also included a trek through an interesting neighborhood of man-made lakes. I passed other pedestrians and joggers and just enjoyed the scenery.

This was my easy run, so I didn’t even bother to push my speed and still ended up at a respectable 5.3 mph. I’d love for the Marathon to be that easy!!!
