DAY NINETY-TWO – CROSS TRAINING – 60 MINUTES

I didn’t have a very good night and I woke up rather sluggish and in a somewhat depressed mood, so I really had a hard time getting myself going today.  I did eventually get on my bike, ride to my office, get my gym clothes, walk to the gym, and do a brand-new work-out routine.  That, at least, was fun – getting to pick out new exercises that I’ll use for the next 15 or so workouts.  I wasn’t in any hurry and wasn’t trying to make the Miss Olympia contest, so I just plugged along through my workout, then did some work with the foam rollers, to break up junk I accumulate in my muscles.  Man, is that painful and unpleasant, but it must be doing some useful function since trainers tell you to do it and it hurts.

I’m looking ahead to tomorrow’s 4.4 miles at 7 mph and I’m really thinking this training plan is just getting out of control.  This is NUTS!  Who put all this crap on my calendar?!?!

I  have been doing so well so far.  I hope I can keep it up and that this isn’t the beginning of my training plan starting to break down.  Wish me luck!
